When Tommy saved Bobby for the second time—this time eight years in the past—it flashed me back to last summer, when Tim Minear posted a BuckTommy video to his facebook.

In that video, a fan effectively highlighted the concept of 'Invisible String Theory' and how it related to BuckTommy as a pairing, while also pointing out how this made Tommy Kinard stand out as not just a unique and effective love interest for Buck, but also an influential character for the direction of the show in general.

So, having a new flashback where Tommy is the one to save Bobby in the past, when it could have just as easily been anyone else who saved him, adds even more contextual layers to the concept. Because had Tommy not intervened at this moment, Bobby likely would have fallen into the inferno and died, leading to the alteration or complete erasure of just about everything we have witnessed in the show since 1x01--never mind just Buck no longer meeting Tommy. It makes me consider that the concept of ‘Invisible String Theory’ may have actually resonated with Minear in a truly influential way once it was brought to his attention, via that video or elsewhere, and that he didn’t just post that video for mere fandom points. Because with this latest development, we have veered away from ‘accidental Invisible String Theory’, to what appears to now be intentional. With this latest development, the writing continues to integrate Tommy into the show’s past and present, while further establishing a strong foundation for his place in the show’s future. It's yet another solid piece of evidence pointing to true longevity for the BuckTommy pairing.

Hen has her Karen, Maddie has her Chimney, Athena had her Bobby, and Buck will have his Tommy.

Seeing a lot of people purchasing "fairy villages" from dollar stores or other retail venues as Spring rears her head in the Northern Hemisphere... did y'all not learn to make those by hand as a kid???

Sticks and grass and leaves and wood chips and nuts and clay and stones are all free from the bounty of Earth. You can just take 'em. Get some old crappy newspaper or bags or cardboard, pull out a sticky hot glue gun or superglue, construct your own fairy villages and color them with spray paints or old acrylic paints or various shades of clay or makeup.

Obviously don't go stealing from people's gardens or protected lands, but I dare say purchasing a ripped-off sham of magic from the devil that is Capitalism makes you an enemy of both the resistance and the fae...

its crazy how getting freaky with my relationship to food did Infinitely more to help me recover from my ED than Literally anything else

#i still have struggle days dont get me wrong but like #i have consistently been able to eat at least 2 meals a day since getting freaky about it #and i still struggle to Feel Hunger but now instead of having a meltdown when i get hungry i get squirmy snd that makes me pay attention #i like have a solid eating routine now. i can eat in PUBLIC?!? like. i dont talk much ab my ED bc frankly it was Bad Bad Bad Bad BAD and i #never ever want to even incidentally contribute/give someone else ideas but like. fuck this is life changing #i dont even like food In sex situations still but knowing me having been fed and satisfied and happy with food makes others go feral for me #knowing that if i eat consistently i get to keep my fat body as it is/grow? knowing that theres women who would not only be pleased but als #impressed and even bricked up about me just EATING????? helps so much. ahh. i love how kink has improved my life all around #i am a much happier and stabler person living a kinkier lifestyle #< this is brought to y'all by me eating my lunch outside and not even thinking about the fact i was hoovering my food (bc im big hungies #and busies so I'm eating then immediately going back to work lol) until my sandwich started falling apart in the way it does when i get a #bit enthusiastic ab eating them and like. i dont think ive ever been able to eat blissfully unaware in public like that before #(also like. i joke sometimes that i cant be a good Feeder if im not feeding myself too but ykw. real policy for me now uwu)

Went outside for a real good walk today, got a Baja blast and some lemonade from the Taco Bell . Wanted to get some pens but couldn’t find any . Apparently this is a store that sells them nearby but I couldn’t find it . Brother talked me out of getting a gel pen even though I’ve thought them cool which is probably for the best, want to minimize smudging given I’m planning on using the pen to annotate a book I’ve had my eye on . Honestly really good day . I feel content .

FUCK YEAH DUDE THAT SOUBDS LIKE AN AWESOME DAY 😁‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ gel pens do smudge really easily for sure like they are fun to use but for that specific circumstance there are probably better options . I’ve never been to Taco Bell but I HAVE had baja blast because it was the 20th anniversary of it being released in 2024 so shops temporarily returned to stocking it in cans which hadn’t been done for a while as like an anniversary limited edition thing, and I think it tastes really good so that sounds awesome ❗️

#i have the baja blast can as one of my solid brick Mountain Dew cans it was actually the one that made me start doing it because #limited edition. and all.#you get Mountain Dew infodump . grins #I think it might be that it was initially a Taco Bell specially designed flavour #just for the drinks machines in Taco Bell #but people liked it so much they started selling it in cans then later stopped #I guess just because other flavours were getting more popular #then in 2024 like I said . rereleased for a year #honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if shops near me still had the baja blast cans #I’m like the only guy in my town who drinks Mountain Dew I don’t think they’d be out of stock yet #but they might be gone if it’s like a contractual ‘don’t keep it after this amount of time so people don’t worry it’s out of date’.
